The Cyberquad for Kids fails to comply with the federal mandatory safety standards for youth ATVs, including mechanical suspension and maximum tire pressure and lacks a CPSC-approved ATV action plan. The ATV safety standards are in place to reduce crash and injury hazards, preventing serious injury or death.

Is the Cyberquad for Kids an ATV?

Under federal law, ATVs are defined as “motorized, off-highway vehicle designed to travel on 3 or 4 wheels, having a seat designed to be straddled by the operator and handlebars for steering control.” The Cyberquad for Kids fits within this definition.

Is the Cyberquad for Kids safe to ride?

The Cyberquad for Kids is not safe to use as a youth ATV. The CPSC and Radio Flyer encourage consumers to immediately stop use of the recalled product and follow Radio Flyer’s directions, found online at https://www.radioflyer.com/pages/recalls, to obtain a full refund of $1900.

Consumers are encouraged to immediately stop using the recalled product and follow Radio Flyer’s instructions to remove the motor controller for the Cyberquad for Kids, which permanently disables the product. Consumers who return the motor controller to Radio Flyer are eligible for a full refund. Consumers who return the motor controller and incur costs disposing of the remainder of the Cyberquad will receive up to $50 to cover costs associated with disposal.

Consumers are encouraged to participate in this recall and immediately stop using the recalled Cyberquad for Kids. Consumers are only eligible for a full refund if they return the motor controller to Radio Flyer.

Complete the recall form at https://www.radioflyer.com/pages/cyberquad-recall. After submitting this online form an envelope with a prepaid shipping label will be sent to your address. Once the envelope is received, place the motor controller within the envelope and send it back to Radio Flyer.

I bought my product 2nd hand on eBay, will an eBay receipt suffice as proof of purchase?

Yes. Consumers are not required to have a receipt to participate in the recall. If you provide the required information and return the motor controller you are eligible for the refund.

Can I keep the product once I remove and ship back the motor controller?

Removing the motor controller will make the Cyberquad for Kids completely unusable, but you do not have to return the rest of the product.
