Beach Activities for Kids

Ali Randazzo |

Sun, sand, surf, and smiles! There’s nothing better than a day at the beach with the family. Here are 4 of our favorite ways to keep little ones entertained and safe on busy beach days.

1. Sandcastle Building Adventure

Playing in the sand is the ultimate sensory activity for littles! Level up the fun with a beach play staple: sandcastle building. The My 1st 2-in-1 Wagon® with Garden Tools is our favorite to simplify this activity. Not only can littles load up the toy wagon with sand or water and pull it to the build site, but the included toys are great for scooping and scraping sand. Who can build the tallest, widest, or most wacky castle?

2. Beach Picnic Party

There is nothing better than a lunch picnic on the beach. Sandwiches, cool drinks, and munchy snacks in the shade are all elements of a perfect picnic. The Beach & Boardwalk Wagon is designed for just that! The wagon features a caddy to carry your coolers of snacks and water. The wagon converts to bench mode for easy seating away from the hot sand and in the shade of the included canopy. Plus, parents can rest easy in beach chairs easily stored on the cargo rack. Extra wide tires were designed for rolling through sand with ease.

3. Beach Treasure Hunt

X marks the spot on this treasure hunt! Hide shells, colorful stones, and small toys in the sand around you. Little ones will love searching, scooping, and sorting with this sensory activity. Tip: keep the treasure contained by putting the sand and items in the wagon bed.

4. Explore by Wheels

What’s better than the beach breeze? Feeling it on your face as your fly! Explore the waterside on an electric bike. Enjoy paved paths near the sand or boardwalk on your eBike with the whole family. The Flyer™ Cruiser Step-Thru 2.0 comes equipped with comfort features of a cruiser and the on-demand power of an electric bike, perfect for hauling you and your crew this summer!
