BEST Gift Ever!We purchased this for our toddler as a Christmas present. When my husband first told me about it, I immediately went to the site to check out the specs and features. There was absolutely zero hesitation in purchasing 'Peanut'! Our little one ran to hop on it as soon as it was revealed on Christmas day.
We have a mix of hard-wood and carpeted floors. There is no problem switching from one to the other. Our kiddo is 2.5 years old, and within 5 minutes, was able to navigate it. It was a quick learn that 'Peanut' will have to be manually turned around (as there is no reverse function).
Putting it together was super easy for my husband, and it arrived securely packaged. Charging is a breeze and will hold a charge for a great amount of time. The little sounds and music are also great touches!
Overall, we love the purchase. Again, it was purchased with our funds and not affiliated with advanced screenings. I noticed majority of the reviews were from those who received it for exchange of their honest review. I would like to personally say those reviews were also spot on!! Thanks to everyone for the helpful reviews!!
If I had one opportunity, it would be to have a reverse option. However, not sure this would be super helpful for the younger kiddos. It's really not that much work to turn it around. I'm sure if you show it to your little one a few times, they will quickly get that they must get up and turn it around....at least that's our experience.

Adorable Indoor Riding ToyMy two year old son told Santa he wanted and elephant for x-mas and Radio Flyer helped deliver! It's simple enought that he can easily opperate it without help. I love that it is soft and plush so if he does bump into things (or me!) that it doesn't hurt or cause damage. It makes a great indoor toy and when the weather is nice I might let him play with it outside a little too. The elephant sounds and little songs it plays are also a nice touch.
The only reason I downgraded a star is that it doesn't reverse. It's a little frustrating that if he drives himself into a blocked path he has to get off and physically turn the toy around and then get back on to continue playing. It really needs a reverse feature.

Just the right sizeGift for my petite niece. Just right! She can get on and off by herself. Within one day she was riding well. Big plush head protects the furniture as she learns to steer. The sounds are cute and not loud or obnoxious. Right rear drive wheel sometimes has a hard time on high gloss wood floors. She loves it

Love it!Radio Flyer provided me with a free sample to test and try out.
My two children, 2 and 4 both love this elephant and constantly fight over who gets to ride it. Putting Peanut together was so much easier than I anticipated. It took about 5 minutes and I was done. Peanut came fully charged as well, which was fantastic. My 2 year old is able to climb on and off on his own very easily and figured out how to make Peanut go with very little help from me.
As much as both kids love this elephant I feel toddlers and preschool age kids would benefit more from this toy as my 4 year old loses interest after 20-30 min, where as my 2 year old plays with this for hours at a time. Peanut's ear has button to play music and trumpet as an elephant does, I do not feel like the volume was extremely loud but just loud enough for the kids to hear while riding or standing nearby.
We have used this toy both inside and outside with ease as long as you stay on the sidewalk/street.
I really love how the plush unzips easily to remove if you need to clean the fabric. Charging is extremely easily as the plug to charge is located in the foot rest.
I would highly recommend this toy to anyone who wants to get their child a motorized toy but not ready for the bigger and faster toys. I felt confident and comfortable with my newly two year old riding and steering the elephant on his own.
