| IMPORTANT SAFETY RECALL
FOR REPAIR
Dear Valued Consumer:
Radio Flyer Inc., in cooperation with the United States Consumer Product Safety
Commission (CPSC) is voluntarily recalling for repair the Classic Walker Wagon,
Model 12 clickers from consumers who purchased the Classic Walker Wagon between
August 2003 through May 2005. Through our testing programs we discovered the clickers
may break during use and this small part may pose a choking hazard. The Classic
Walker Wagon passed independent testing to governmental and industry standards,
Radio Flyer improved the clicker material to increase the margin of safety and
chose to recall the clickers for replacement.
We greatly appreciate your cooperation in this matter and ask
that you take the following steps:
- Immediately remove the Model 12 Classic Walker Wagon for use by your child/children.
- Determine if your Classic Walker Wagon is covered by the recall. Classic Walker
Wagons with manufacture dates of 2453L, 3013L, 0534L1, 0684L1, 0784L1,
1134L1, 1294L1, 1504L1, 1554L1, 1714L1, 1764L1, 2024L1, 2554L1, 2604L1, 2684L1,
2714L1, 2884L1, 3394L1, 3314L1 are being recalled for replacement. The
date code is stamped on the bottom of the Classic Walker Wagon.
- If your Classic Walker Wagon is not dated within the above dates, it is not
covered by the recall and is safe for you to return it to your child/children.
- If your Classic Walker Wagon is covered by the recall, request a Clicker Replacement
Kit by visiting our website at www.radioflyer.com and complete the request
form, or call our Customer Service Department at 1-800-621-7613, 8:30 a.m.
to 5 p.m. CT, Monday through Friday.
- When your kit arrives, replace the clickers according to the instructions;
dispose of the old clickers in a manner that will prevent any access by children
and return the Classic Walker Wagon to your child/children for safe play.
- Should you choose to not repair a recalled Classic Walker Wagon with the replacement
Clicker Kit, you may return it to the place of purchase.
