My son enjoys it so much! I refuse to buy any other brand of wagons or riding toys than Radio Flyer. They are so much more durable than the other brands! He's very comfortable and we bought a canopy recently to go with it. We love it!

We love this wagon!!! My daughter wants to ride in it all the time; inside and outside.
The wagon has officially replaced our stroller. We go to the zoo, park, around the neighborhood and some times to grocery stores. We have only had it for a week and what a blast so far!!! Worth every penny.

Santa brought this wagon for our daughter this year. After a few glitches setting it up, it's been a great gift. We picked this model bc we live in the redwoods by the beach. The all-terrain tires are perfect. She loves the 2 fold up/down seats--great for a solo ride or with a friend. This wagon is great. There is four cup holders, a lower deck for the kids feet, and back rests. The handle is easy grip. Since its plastic I don't have to worry about it rusting

Bought this wagon as an Easter gift for my daughter when she was 4. Filled it with hay and Easter eggs. Not only was she so surprised at the time, but she has continued to use this wagon with her friends for years (she is almost 9 now). She has tied it to her Barbie jeep and pulled her friends around the yard, I have pulled children up and down hills, and they have even pulled ME around in it. I have also used it in the garden, for lugging brush, for transporting heavy boxes to the shed for storage, etc. Washes clean easily, still looks like new. Very convenient to have around, tons of fun for the kids, and virtually indestructible! Great wagon, worth every penny.

I bought this Wagon for my grandson, was very happy when it was first put together. But when I went to fold the seats down,they would not go down completely. I have called customer service and received no help. I am very disappointed in this product. I will most likely be purchasing a Step 2.

We gave this wagon to our nephew for his first birthday. He and his parents were equally excited to have it. It's been perfect for neighborhood strolls in the evening to look at Christmas lights. We can't wait to use it with him for years to come.

I'm disappointed just like everyone else give o take three people. How come everyone has to call why after all these reviews isnt there a solution and not yet posted why do we have to call? Hi all, don't usually write reviews but I felt like this one was needed. Im a little disappointed in Radio Flyer for a couple of reasons. First, I ordered (online) "The Ultimate" wagon and decided to send it back bc I found a cheaper Radio Flyer wagon at Costco.
I can't believe after spending so much money with this company they cant give their customers a return label. It cost me $76.00 just to mail it back.
Obviously, I won't be buying anything online from them again. Second disappointment, the wagon I purchased from Costco was 'The Pathfinder'. Its nice BUT for $100.00 I don't think the tires should fall off and be wabbly!
My husband got the tires to finally stay on but they seem like they may fall off again sometime soon. Would I recommend a wagon to anyone? NO. Prob not. Its not a horrible product (hence the 3 stars) . It does its job for now.
My son does love wagon rides - but as a parent with bills I expect that when I spend $100 + it works properly and does its job! Lastly, in this day and age with everybody making purchases online frequently- I would also expect that a company that charges people hundreds for plastic wagons accommodates their customers with return labels.

We purchased 3 Radio Flyer wagons for a classroom of special needs toddlers. After reading several negative reviews, I contacted the teacher for this classroom and inquired if they experienced any problems with the wagons. They have had no problems with the wagons whatsoever and the childern are thoroughly enjoying their rides around the school. It warms our hearts to see their smiling faces as they are pulled along.

I bought this for my grandchildren so I could use it when they are at my house. The 2nd time I took them in it one of the wheels snapped off, I just picked it up and tried to pull the kids home. By the time we got back to my house another wheel snapped off and one of the last 2 wheels had cracked. I always bought radio flyer for my children but I don't know if I will again. The worst part is that it costs 12+ to replace each wheel. I want to replace all 4. Almost 50 dollars I only paid 100 for the wagon.

I recieved this as a gift 2, maybe three years ago, and immediately had the same steering issue that has been plaguing most reviewers. It seemed like a nice item, but I never, ever used it because the steering was non-existent. Forgot about it until today when I realized I needed a cart for my son and I tomorrow.
Tonight I tried switching the wheels, maybe I had installed them wrong previously. Nope. Same problem. However, after that, I pried up the two top washers that hold everything together just a little and that seems to be the issue. Those washers make everything too tight when pushed down 100%. Just pry them up a little to keep things loose and you will have steering, because installed 'correctly' is too snug for steering. 2 stars, -3 for poor design.

The wagon will only go straight. I tried to exchange it at the store and they refused so now I'm not only out my money but my children are so disappointed they can't enjoy their wagon! I'm highly disappointed and probably won't purchase another radio flyer again

We had no wheel problems or any other mechanical problems with our wagon. We have one child. We didn't use it much because it was heavy to pull, but if she had a friend or her cousin over and I tried to pull both of them - forget it. It was way too heavy for this mom to pull 2 kids! If you live on a very flat street with smooth pavement, this might work for you. But we live in a hilly area and it was too hard to pull uphill and downhill. (Posted on 5/2/2015)
I love this wagon, it's great for my 9 month old. He loves riding around in it. But to my dismay, the back hubcap loosened up and now the back wheels shift from left to right. The black handle also has loosened and now it won't stay upright when I set it still, it simply just falls to the ground, this itself is not the big deal, but more so, the handle shifts left and right and does not feel sturdy when I pull it. I love the idea of this wagon much more than the actual engineered process.

This wagon feels like someone playing a bad joke!. We had Radio Flyers for our four children as they grew up. Never had a problem with them. This was a gift to our granddaughter for her birthday. She was such a tiny little one that it should have required no effort at all To pull her. Does not turn! I actually had to physically turn it every time Because It tips over when you turn. After falling out she was afraid to get in Itt. The front wheels do not touch the ground at times and they tip inward. Our two year old grandson now wants to ride in it. It's too much work. I cannot even see how replacement parts will help because it's was hardly used.

This wagon has saved us from carrying granddaughter/and year older brother, to many parades. The car is generally parked blocks away and you need to carry water, snacks, sweaters, blankets etc.! We LOVE this. I have a two year old, and a 9 year old sister that love to sit in this when we go for long walks, or to theme parks. All 4 of our wheels turn fine. I occasionally need to lift the front end a bit by the handle, but it doesn't bother me. It's not heavy and I'm not lazy. I do wish it had holes for the canopy clamps like the picture shown for the canopy.
But all in all it's great. I love the seats and the option to buy seat covers. And it's easy to wipe clean.
My brother and I had a metal one as kids that we practically lived in. My favorite memories were of him pulling me through 2 foot deep puddles in his giant rain boots while I sat in the wagon with sticks and pretended to be rowing a boat.
But I chose plastic for my kids cause I remember the metal being hot during the summer (though this never stopped us from playing in it) and it getting squeaky after too many days of playing in the rain and never drying it off. (Posted on 3/20/2015)
My brother and I both LOVED our metal Radio Flyer wagon when we were little and I was expecting the same with my twin girls. However, this wagon was a disappointment. My girls are 16 months old and love going outside. I was hoping that they would be able to be comfortable in it so that we didn't have to always go out in our stroller. While it is nice that they can see more while in their wagon, I have such issues with turning as well as just following a path that is not straight that I hate bringing them out in it! What a waste of money! The wheels don't turn and they often don't even more out of the the straight position. For a $100 toy, I would expect WAY more out of it than this wagon......

It doesn't want to turn go straight. The red caps fall off and now one of the wheels is falling off. I too expected more out of this company. Wish I had got different wheel style maybe. But like the seats. My son is only 1.

We have had this wagon for 3 years. Still love it. I have read all the other reviews. I know what other are talking about when they say the front wheels shake and won't turn. If you only have 1 child in it the front comes up just enough that the tires don't get traction. My husband figured it out one day when my oldest decided to sit in the front seat and he had no problem with the front wheels. I'm excited for summer so we can start using it again. Radio Flyer used to make quality products that they were proud to produce and that people were proud to own. I still have a 50+ year old wagon in my garage that performs like brand new after a fresh coat of paint. This wagon is another story. They should be embarrassed to be selling this thing. This was a Christmas present for my son last year. At first we loved it. Trips to the park, trips to the zoo, just walking around the neighborhood, it was great. But at the end of the summer, after just a few months of use, the wheels started to wobble horribly. They oscillated back and for so badly that you couldn't walk for than 10 feet without having to stop. It got to the point that I actually had to walk home from the neighborhood pool and get the car because we couldn't get the thing home. I was very disappointed. I expected a "Radio Flyer" brand wagon to be something we would enjoy for years, if not decades and this thing was dying on us after only a few months.
I contacted customer support and they recommended replacing the axles on the front wheels. They sent me all the parts for free and i replaced the axles but it did not solve the problem. I contacted them again and they suggested it was probably the bushing for the front axles. They sent me those parts, again for free, but it still did not solve the problem. I called back and asked if maybe there was a problem with the wheels. They said there was absolutely no problem with the wheels and offered to send me an entire new wagon body... so at this point they have literally sent me every part needed to build an entire new wagon EXCEPT the wheels and STILL the thing wobbles so horribly that it's unusable. I called customer service AGAIN and asked if I could just send everything back and try some new wheels. At this point they essentially gave up and just sent me a gift card to buy a new wagon. It's been sitting in my inbox since September. I'm not really thrilled with the idea of getting another one of these (or paying to have it shipped). I think this summer we will just replace this with a competitors product.
Radio Flyer customer service gets 5 stars, but they should all be embarrassed at the garbage products they are selling now.

Carted my 30 lb daughter around this Halloween in the wagon...first time we used it. I honestly would have rather carried her the entire time. It doesn't steer correctly... Meaning, when you pull the RF to turn this way or that, the front castor wheels spin sideways, forcing the wheels to drag. Yes, it is assembled correctly. What a letdown for everybody

Awesome wagon but the wheels have trouble turning right or left. Our handle keeps failing causing slack in the handle. Upon disassembly, found the handle where the axle goes through is bending the plastic causing the slack. Poor design .... I love the wagon but the last handle wore out four days after we installed it, and we went really easy on it with one thirty pound child. I guess we will buy a metal one on eBay from another manufacturer.

Ditto with everything *Sad Dad* has posted! I just got this wagon and the wheels don't turn left or right. It's almost as if the metal is bent wrong, or there is something keeping it from turning freely as it should and instead gets stuck and causes the wagon to top over if turned. Even my 3 year old said there's something wrong with the wheels... I've reassembled the front wheels twice now (left on left/right on right) and even sprayed WD-40. I'm out of options as to what may be wrong. At this point the only thing we are using this for is extra seating when the other kids come over. Not happy with this wagon yet!

I remember the Radio Flyer brand as a child--it was synonymous with indestructible. It is disappointing to see how far they have fallen.
The design of this product is horrible. It has two functions: (1) hold stuff, and (2) roll. The problem is with #2. The front wheels rarely line up and roll straight. Instead, they somehow figure out a way to turn perpendicular to the direction in which I'm pulling and drag along. It is horrible.
It is clear that this design had cost prioritized over function. It is nearly useless and we have debated simply throwing it away. I would save your money and/or buy the original metal design that they got in 1927.

Bought this @ goodwill for $24.99 new in damaged box. I was missing one steering bushing. Replacement was $1. My kids are so excited! Wish there was a shade canopy for this model. My daughter recieved this for her 2nd birthday, that was nearly 10 years ago. This wagon has been used and abused by my own 3 children, friends and family and daycare kids and is still going strong. I've used it for yard work, hauling kids and in the winter I even store our air conditioner on it. We have used it for a cooler, fill it with ice, the water drains out the bottom and kids ride on top of the folded down seats. Aside from some mild fading on the plastic caps (which are replaceable) this looks and functions like new. Easy to pull and rides smoothly. I only wish it fit easily in our vehicle so we could get even more use out of it. I came to this site hoping I could order replacement seat belts (a mouse chewed ours over the winter) and was not disappointed. It's wonderful to see a company make a quality product and offer replacement parts for years to come so I can extend the life of my product. I highly recommend this wagon and I have never been disappointed with any Radio Flyer product we have owned.
