Wagons for Good Charity Sweepstakes

Our iconic red wagons and other classic children’s toys have inspired generation after generation. They have sparked nostalgia among adults, too, and we are grateful for that every day. We are even more thrilled to hear when our wagons have enriched lives and helped others during times of need.

With that in mind, we’ve launched the Wagons for Good sweepstakes. The campaign aims to showcase how our customers use their Radio Flyer wagons to make a positive impact in others’ lives.

Makenna’s Coats for a Cause, for example, was founded on the belief that everyone should have access to warm clothing on cold winter nights. So, Makenna collects coats from neighbors using a Radio Flyer wagon and delivers them to homeless individuals and families in her community.

“I want to do my best to lift someone up in their time of need,” she says. “I might not be able to change the world but I can change someone's day.”

Inspiring in another way is Duke the Dog Rescue, a 70-pound German Shepherd/Chow mix. When John and his family rescued Duke, they found out their furry friend was in an accident. Duke had a hard time walking long distances. When John and his wife left for hikes, they heard Duke’s howls and cries throughout the neighborhood. With a wagon, Duke is able to get outside and enjoy hikes with his family!

“I was looking for quality, aesthetic appeal and durability,” Duke’s owner reveals. “I ended up customizing a Radio Flyer wagon that was tailored to our lifestyle and future plans. Now, we go on two to three hikes per week, and Duke is never left out!”

We encourage all of you to share the ways you have made a positive impact in others’ lives with the March 28th national launch of Wagons for Good. Enter by sharing your own heartwarming tale. When the sweepstakes closes on April 18th at 11:59 PM CST, we will choose a winner and donate 100 Radio Flyer wagons to their charity of choice.
