Our March Little Red Stories winner shared how her youngest daughter, Evie, received a Radio Flyer scooter for her birthday in February, but couldn’t take it for a spin because of the snow hiding the sidewalks. Once the ice melted away, she headed outside to enjoy her new ride and didn’t let the bitter winter hold her back.

Happy 3rd Birthday today to Augustine, the little boy featured in “Just A Toy?”-- the Little Red Story Winner for April! His mom, Robyn F., shared that when Augustine was 2, he wanted nothing but a shiny red scooter. So he saved his money in his piggy bank until his wish came true!

Game Time: Birthday Games

Birthday Bash: Isabelle turns 4!

There are some standard ingredients: invitations, party treats, fun activities, and gaggles of friends. Each element is infinitely customizable to age, hobbies and family tradition. Choosing a theme based on a child's interests (or obsessions?) is a way to cherish who they are at that exact age.

When I was a kid, I remember playing music from a radio out of the garage.  I would crank up my favorite songs and act out an entire musical performance on my bicycle while riding in circles in the driveway.
