Time for chores! A sentence that can make people of all ages cringe or suddenly feel sleepy. For that reason, some say that it’s a good idea to give kids housework when they’re young. It can encourage them to complete their cleaning duties in the future. While they might not be able to do the dishes or start the laundry, toddlers can help with other tasks. They can pick up their toys and books and put away dirty clothes. They can even help with pets around the house. You know, like feeding the family’s 750-1200 pound horses.

Thanks to Julie T. of Fort Mill, SC for sharing this adorable photo of her son and his best friend, Tye, the family's 8-year-old lab/collie mix. The wagon was given to him by his grandparents. She reports, "My son is 10 months old and will be enjoying this gift for a long time! He also received the 3-in one trike from his aunt and loves that as well!" Hope everyone had a nice Christmas. What were your favorite gifts found under the tree this year?

Thanks to Kathie B. from Grand Rapids, MI for this week's Flyer Favorite.  She works with Allies for Greyhounds of West Michigan to find homes for retired race dogs. This litter was born in Pensacola, FL.  She and her husband had the privilege to take photos of them. And we all get to enjoy!  Thanks Kathie, for sharing.

It's Flyer Friday, where we select our favorite submitted photo.  This week's photo comes from Jim S. in Bend, Oregon.  It features Stu, his 3-year-old golden doodle, patiently waiting.  Jim takes the wagon with Stu to pick up his granddaughter from Montessori school and then they go to the park together.  Jim is a retired special education teacher and says, "getting to care for Anabell a few hours a week is the best part of my life right now, (and golf, haha)."   Thanks for sharing Jim!
