The first few weeks of January serve as a great time to take down holiday decorations, create new resolutions…and put together toys that are still in their boxes. Studies have shown that parents will spend an average of 68 minutes putting together their children’s toys during the holiday season.

New Year's Resolutions: Baby Steps

The New Year’s Baby will take on new meaning to me this year—he will remind me it’s all about baby steps.  I came to this realization when I created my annual list of what I hope to accomplish in the year ahead—and I also looked back at what I had hoped to accomplish last year.  With three kids, time is a rare commodity for me, and so yet again, I failed at keeping my resolutions or achieving my goals.  So I’ve decided I would take a new approach this year – doing something is better than doing nothing.
