One of the biggest joys of being on the Customer Service Team here at Radio Flyer is hearing how our products have become a family tradition.  We love hearing from parents and grandparents – even great-grandparents!

Our January Little Red Stories winner was thrilled to share her family’s amazing story with us. Angela, Mike and their two-year-old son, Sawyer, are constantly playing with all their Radio Flyer toys every day. The family enjoys taking walks to the park and pool. Their beloved little red wagon, gifted for Sawyer’s first birthday, is always behind them.

Our February Little Red Stories winner, Laura T., tells us that both she and her husband received a Radio Flyer wagon when they were two years old. She remembers hers being covered in balloons that wiggled in the wind as her Uncle George wheeled it around the yard. She recalls her uncle telling her parents, “Every kid should have a red wagon.”

Time for chores! A sentence that can make people of all ages cringe or suddenly feel sleepy. For that reason, some say that it’s a good idea to give kids housework when they’re young. It can encourage them to complete their cleaning duties in the future. While they might not be able to do the dishes or start the laundry, toddlers can help with other tasks. They can pick up their toys and books and put away dirty clothes. They can even help with pets around the house. You know, like feeding the family’s 750-1200 pound horses.

Congratulations to Jennifer C., the Little Red Stories winner for May! Jennifer submitted this picture of  her 4-year-old son, Luke, working on his trike to make it go “super fast,” as Luke puts it. We love how our trikes encourages kids like Luke to learn how to be handy with tools and tune-ups!

Unexpected moments can sometimes bring a lot of joy. I experienced this first hand when I was able to present the grand prize winner of our Little Red Stories contest with a check for $10,000 recently in Lawrence, Kansas.
